Dropping personal grudges and battles, simply cutting troublesome people out of your life, allows you to focus on other, productive things that improve your life and happiness. Methodical Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Like LW, I have "quit" or cut out people who were using or bringing me down. We can only be used as much as we allow others to take advantage of us. It's hard to cut ties when lots of time and energy have been invested, but at some point, we have to open our eyes and realize that doing the same thing day in and day out will not inspire change unless the other person wants to change.
