Maybe it is not so much that they are less deserving, just that they should understand that they may not be respected by some people. And that they shouldn't demand respect just because they've had sex.

 

Casual sex---that is, not knowing the background at least a little about the person you're having sex with----is risky in some regards and let's be honest, you cannot know a person at any great length after two dates. You can know them physically, sure, but not mentally (emotionally). Therefore, one should not expect to attach emotions to a physical act that might, to the other person, be meaningless other than a quickie.

 

What I mean is, NO ONE, man or woman, should expect to be treated like they are the other's soulmate after one or two nights of sex.

 

Now on the other hand, if you have gotten to know a person somewhat first, on a more emotional level, and THEN have sex, that is a different thing. You are experiencing some emotional attachment to a person, that would have gradually evolved into a sexual relationship.

 

No, I don't think all women should be automatically be assumed to want an engagement ring either, just 'cause they've had sex with someone. THAT is another stereotype we have to get over.
