whichwayisup Posted April 19, 2005 Share Posted April 19, 2005 In the past 3 weeks or so my husband and I have really been connecting really well again and things seem to be back to normal. (I'm getting laid daily now which is great!) The few months before we weren't really clicking. It wasn't that bad, no fighting or anything, just generally that low "blah" couples go through every now and then. We both just seemed out of sync and not spending alot of time on eachother. Leading up to the past few weeks, I have been letting him have some space, he's been working alot of long hours and extremely tired and moody. Started doing alot of little things around the house, keeping up with the laundry and cleaning, making supper and just doing nice things for him. Tonight he called me just to say I love you. Melted my heart. So I just went out and bought a big bunch of scented Lillies for him. I think he is coming home around 10pm tonight. So for all of you going through the little downs in the marriage, it does always get better. Don't ever feel that he/she doesn't love you - Cuz they DO!!!! I believe the all the efforts to make it work are always gratified , be it on job or family! And it is also nice that you share something positive with others. I have to say we do have a pretty good relationship. There are things I know I need to work on to make it better and same with him. Not bad stuff, just more like patience and really understanding where the other person is coming from at times...We don't really fight, we bicker abit, I get more irritated with him cuz he can BE SO ANNOYING!! LOL! I know I can be too, (hey, I can admit that!) unfortunately for me, his habits and little quirks bug me more than mine do him! Ain't that typical eh? Link to post Share on other sites
