Penguin_hugs
I'm a final year Uni student- so I have done my fair share of studying over the years! First work out what kind of learner you are- visual, auditory or kinesthetic. There are various online surveys you can do to find this out like the following Discover your learning style - questionnaire Then match your studying style to your preferred method. For example, I am a visual learner, so I write my notes out in mind maps, with various colours and highlight important features. It's important to vary how you write things each time- for example- write a bullet pointed list the first time, then from memory, turn the page to landscape and write the key points in a mind map. You can write things on revision/ flash cards to test yourself (or get someone else to). Or there are lots of Youtube videos available to help with concepts- for example- I need to know how a lot of drug mechanisms work, so I watch videos on the concepts. I know people who are auditory learners who study best by listening to recordings of lectures. Some people prefer to work in silence but I like some background music- so classical is pretty good- I just find a Study playlist on spotify. Write down the start and stop times of studying so you can see how much you do. Try and do it in hour long slots- so 1 hour studying, then stand up, make a cup of tea, check your phone etc and then switch it back off and do another hour. Try to be disciplined Good luck
