How do you tell a friend that you've known for ages that you DO NOT want to go into business with them.

Lately, she's really been getting on my nerves and I want to bash her head in. Now, she wants to get into a business with me.

How do you tell somebody you just don't want to EVER get into business with them! I think I'd end up pounding her to death!!

Tell her honestly that you are not into going to business with her. Tell her that you are in a finacal situation that you just can do it. Just try to tell her the truth if not then go for the lie. You need to just be straight forward with her. Just Say NO!!

You: I don't want to go into business with you.

Her: Why not?

You: It doesn't matter why or why not. You don't need a business partner that doesn't want to be there.

Her: But WHY??

You: The reasons are my own. Please respect my decision.

Her: I just want to know why.

You: I know you want to know why, and I don't want to tell you why. Isn't it good that we're not getting into business together?

Her: Is it me?

You: IT... DOES... NOT... MATTER... WHY.

Her: That hurts my feelings.

You: Better your feelings now than your feelings AND financial problems later.

<end the discussion right there>

:lmao:

that was awesome, i think thats what u should say.

nah, i think that u should just tell her, that u really are not interested into getting into that business, and leave it right there, if she asks why, then say what slubberdegullion suggested in his conversation. and tell her that it's your own financial and security reasons that you don't want to get involved in this business.

Easy FREEBYRD....let's say your freinds name is Lisa. Here is what u say:

"Lisa, you know, i've thought about this extensively and I've come to the conclusion that I value our friendship so much that I really don't want to jeopardize it in any way. Right now, I think us going into business toghether is a very bad idea. It' s my belief that one should not get involved in business relationships with relatives or friends because sometimes bad things happen."

Then you take her out for martinis and appetizers at the local bar.
