I promise you, you're gona get in better shape. Go to worldfitness dot com they're very helpful when it comes to dieting. No; you can get Omega 3s from fish oil, flaxseed oil and flaxseeds (as flour or in breads, etc), eggs, walnuts, and other stuff. If you get fish oil, get the more expensive sorts. Apparently cheaper ones are what give you endless fish burps Omega 3s are good for you - as are Omega 6s and 9s. Link to post Share on other sites

Lonestar Posted April 23, 2005 Share Posted April 23, 2005 It's hard to eat a lot of protein, especially the amount you need to build muscle. I'm pretty cut and toned for a chick, and I get the extra protein I need from whey protein shakes. Go to your local gym or GNC store and buy a jug of whey protein powder mix. I get the vanilla kind. Take a blender and mix one scoop and a cup of milk with a couple ice cubes, plus add any fruit you want - strawberries work good. The cubes are important to thicken the shake. I also add a pack of Equal. I drink two shakes a day, and have noticed a big difference in muscle mass. Link to post Share on other sites
