Still Single

So this I'm embarrassed to say this but I am depressed because I have not had a successful date in a very long time. I have been on dates and no one seems good enough.

 

I have had 3 boyfriends over the past 2.5 years. Bf#1- Took advantage of me. Bf#2- Cheated on me. Bf#3- I had to get the approval of his friends to date him. Not to mention the upwards of 10+ dates I have been on.

 

Now all of these people (as far as I know) have boyfriends and I am still stuck here single and alone. I have a lot to offer but all I attract now are people I am not attracted to. I feel like taking myself off of online dating sites.

 

I just want to feel loved by someone other than a member of my family.

 

I just do not know what to do.

Everyone goes through times like this. Sometimes, if dating isn't working you need to step back and take a break.

 

It's hard when you feel lonely and want to connect. If you give up completely though, you'll never find what you're looking for.

 

Maybe it's time to shake things up. Get out of your social circle and try something new. New hobbies / studies mean new social circles.

 

It's ok to feel frustrated. We all feel it. You're not alone.
