nomadic_butterfly
I am wondering how the process works as far as reference checks if you have a letter from your former employer? I left my previous job just over two years ago and my boss gave me a stellar letter; it impressed my current and my pending employer. I am wondering if I am going to have to list his number when they do the background/reference check? I don't want to keep bothering him but maybe I am overthinking. I am hoping they can just contact him to verify he did write that letter and that is it. Furthermore, he has since left the company and it has been acquired so I am not sure if the new company even has my employment records.
