Top tier men are hoarding all the women

Recommended Posts

Well, I suppose the click is made easier or harder for different people. Personally I just click easier with a lot of people on a rather superficial level than with one or a few on a much deeper level. Sole exception being my partner but that's a gray area because of the relationship. If that deep and intense click is absolutely mandatory then I suppose it's a more stringent requirement.

Combine that with needing attraction, chemistry, sexual compatibility and bla bla its almost incredible that people actually find partners who cross all their boxes.

I do think it's easier for some to click with people than others. It's part personality, part learned skill, and part effort. In my job, I must make an effort to connect with people, and I find that "click" (on different levels) regularly, but I do put effort into it!

Someone define top tier men for me.

Two possible definitions:

A. the guys who sleep with a lot of women

B. the guys who attract the most desirable women

I believe for this particular thread 'B' is what is being referred to. Keep in mind that the guy that can attract the most desirable woman, may not want a committed relationship and therefore may just have casual sex with many less desirable women.

And that's the premise of the thread. The most desirable males, while remaining uncommitted, are sleeping with many, often less desirable women, and those women are all hoping that he chooses them to be in a relationships with so they effectively remain "off the market".

The opposite side of the spectrum are the men who agree to being in the friendzone with a woman who has no interest in dating them romantically. As long as he remains infatuated with that woman, instead of dating other women, they have effectively taken themselves "off the market."

I would argue that both these scenarios are exceedingly rare, although perhaps more common with younger, more inexperienced folks.

What I have seen from Match.com, white women overwhelmingly favor white men. Much more so than I would have even thought being as 'pessimistic' as I am. Though I will say Latino is without a doubt, second best. So, good news for you Jay. :D

Middle Eastern is next, and then probably equal amounts of black and/or Asian depending on preference, last.

Almost all Latina and Asian women will accept white men on top of their own men. More Latinas will accept black men.

Black women less so. A lot of black women only put down black men.

I'd say it's a mix of:

1. some very attractive qualities superficial qualities

2. charm and charisma that facilitate social and professional relationships

3. good character (no huge deal breakers)

They don't guarantee results.

I think of it like those things widen your pool.

If you have all those things, you'll be fishing from Lake Michigan.

If you have none of those things, you might be fishing from a kiddie pool.

I'm not black, I'm brown and I get a lot of the same thing.

Ok, to illustrate the point, is Kanye West not a 'top tier' man (nevermind being crazy)? Kim Kardashian wears him on her hip like a fashion accessory.

How old are you though?

Amongst women I have browsed (ages 32ish to 45ish), very few white women want black men. To be honest, I cannot recall any that specifically listed black, but then again I wasn't really looking.

I'd actually be kind of curious as to see what women ages 18-25 preferences are significantly different.

Media can have a huge role in this kind of thing.

If Kanye West wasn't famous, no, he wouldn't be.

 No, neither KW nor KK. IMO.

Shaun T (trainer from Insanity series) is a top tier kind of guy, imo. He's married. And gay. But nonetheless! :p

Just goes to show how ill-defined the very concept of 'top tier' really is. Or subjective moreso. ;)

Kanye West isnt to my personal taste, but a lot of people seem to aspire to his standing as far as I can tell. I'm sure there are regional and cultural variations, but in my neck of the woods, young-ish black guys who dress well and have 'game' are highly sought-after by women of all races. It's actually a bit offensive in a way because the 'blackness' part plays such a significant role in terms of feeling a sense of accomplishment in hooking up with them (as opposed to the merits of just being a person).

This thread is still going on?

I just keep interjecting with random thoughts. My next one plays along the lines with the last couple pages.

People are absolutely right. 'Top tier' is subjective. I went from a Billy/Timmy to a Chad/Jake in my own life. Which is ironic, because my RL name is either a derivative of Billy/Timmy, and my 'alter-ego' I used to refer to myself as is Chad. That is a random offshoot but I think is astrologically significant. Only not really, because I don't believe in astrology.

Point is, I will post pictures of me 5 years ago and today if I have to. It would instantly end this argument. Same genetic code. Same height. Wayyyyy different people. All I did was conform myself to what you think 'Chad' looks like, as opposed to my ignorant sense of looks/style back then. You are alone because you choose to be alone.

So, as a literal Billy/Timmy 5 years ago, I am telling you it is all subjective and a matter of sociological manipulation. Attraction can be manufactured by personality and by paying attention to the patterns. Take it from my 180 patterns IQ. Nearly everything you see as attractive can be scientifically reproduced on your own body/face.

The ONLY thing I will give this argument as a possible separator...and I don't think it's that big of a deal if you have the right charisma/confidence...is height sociologically is a factor in people's success. I am 6'2'' so I was at least blessed in that category. However there was a time I was very unsuccessful despite it. I know a lot of 5'6'' or thereabout guys that have no problem dating. The most confident ones even end up landing 5'10''+ bombshells. They have big ol' dangly bits...for sure.

Would you say this is because of high level racism in America?

Australian women are pretty into black American guys. In fact, I'd say a large part of the 'culture' here now is heavily influenced by that seen in black American media.

Sudanese and Somalian migrants don't get very far with women here because of their 'funny accents' and often Arabic names but a black American guy named Tyrone with a smooth American accent would pull a lot.

I don't know.

All I know is that on Match.com a significant majority of women will only date their race. I didn't say they excluded only black guys. That's just what came up.

Edit: You know what's really funny?

Match.com goes to Australia. I checked out some profiles really quickly and half of them did list black men (along with white men). How funny is that dude? :lmao:

Man, maybe you're on to something. Maybe I should move.
