Swan89
There's a girl that I see a lot in work and we've been attracted to each other for quite a while (at least 6 months). I work in a public transport depot and she doesn't work there, she's just a regular. I don't know her, but my colleague does apparently. A few weeks ago, I tell him that I fancy her. He gets back to me the next week and tells me that she said that she normally goes to a certain bar on Friday nights and that If I see her out, I should go over and talk to her. I've not had much money the last couple of weeks so I haven't had an opportunity to see her. When I see her in work, I just don't feel as though I have any real opportunity to strike up a conversation. When she passes through, she's comes through with friends and may say something to my colleague and we make eye contact, and I just give a little smile. However, today in work, I saw her walk through and we glanced at eachother again but later in the day, she passed by holding hands with some guy and glancing back and forth at me. If she's with someone, then why would she even care to look at me? Its kind of immoral to do that when you're dating someone. I know I've missed the boat, but what gives man? PS- I must stress that I'm introverted, shy and neurotic when it comes to talking to women I find attractive. Edited May 11, 2015 by Swan89

ExpatInItaly
It's possible it's a new guy. She might have looked at you to ensure you saw her with him and understand she's not available. But I'm curious: how do you know she is attracted to you? It sounds as though you've never spoken to her.

I know because we make eye contact and my colleague told me that she pretty much invited me to talk to her. Yeah she's started going out with a new guy, but she still looks at me. Author Swan89
Because, as I stated: When I see her in work, I just don't feel as though I have any real opportunity to strike up a conversation. PS- I must stress that I'm introverted, shy and neurotic when it comes to talking to women I find attractive. She just passes through with some friends and even if I decided to say hello in front of them... Where would I go from there? I've got nothing to work with. And no, we've never spoken before.
