A good way to cope

So I have been coping for about 3 months and I have my good and bad days. I can say this with confidence, it has been getting better since day 1.

 

I'll say this to those that are grieving from the lose of their ex. That day will come and I can promise you that your happiness is right in front of the mirror. If you love yourself, you'll never be alone.

 

With that being said, try to go on a vacation. I found this to be very helpful for myself. I planned a trip to go out of the country to Dominican Republic and my mind/heart hasn't been this excited in a long time. My thoughts have been around the vacation and what I want to do and where I want to explore. If you can financially afford a trip for about a week, DO IT!

 

You will be less stressed for quite some time. Is this going to fix everything? Of course not but its a change for your mind/heart that definitely does help. It has been helping me as I've been putting my energy towards it and not towards my ex.

 

So again, look in the mirror and remember, if you love yourself...you'll never be alone.

Doing something good & positive for yourself is always helpful. Sometimes just getting out of your regular routine can be a blessing.

 

Even if you can't afford a vacation, a nice bubble bath, something self soothing is a step in the right direction.
