Used2KnowU
hi all guys and gals, hope you all are great! so i've had a crazy past few years, ex walking out, losing my job, unemployment, family members passing away, mother hospitalized. tested in every possible way. but things have finally been looking up after alot of work and sacrifice, thank god. anyway to the topic, my first love from my high school days. we have always remained friends but kept physical distance (mostly due to location and relationships) but always checked up on the other via skype or phone calls, always provided the other with an unbiased opinion when and if ever needed. since 2015 started we have been talking a bit more but still on the same terms we have always been on. she moved back to my state for her new job and we met up over the weekend (first time since 2007). we spent 6 hours together, we both did some mothers day shopping then just walking through the park and catching up on tons of stuff, then we sat and had a nice dinner at a restaurant which ended with me dropping her back home. simple day with an old friend. it felt so nostalgic though, our first time together was the exact same thing all those years ago, we spent half a day in the park on the grass. we've both grown tremendously and she still makes me nervous, lol. she even realized it too, lol. i havent pushed anything and intend to take it as slow as possible but she was opened to another day out when our schedules work out again. just wanted to hear if any of you ever experienced anything like this or heard of a couple getting back together after such a long hiatus. i must say though and i must of told her this like 3 times, she looked bloody amazing. she even complimented me on my physique as i have been on my gym and eating regiment since my hospitalization lol. in short, i want her, lol. thanks in advance for you guys input. I haven't but I had the opportunity to do so on numerous occasions to get back with my first love but I just refuse to. He has too much going on in his personal life and as I grew older my preferences changed. I'm no longer interested. And he dumped me when we broke up 12 years ago

Its not impossible and does sometimes happen, but you need to ask yourself why did you two split up in the first place, as reincarnated relationships can often play out in a similar way. I think the fact you always remained friends may be in your favour though. Good Luck.

Author Used2KnowU
Its not impossible and does sometimes happen, but you need to ask yourself why did you two split up in the first place, as reincarnated relationships can often play out in a similar way. Good Luck. we broke up mainly to us just being young and foolish and not truly being able to comprehend what a real relationship entailed. it didn't help that i had gotten a job out of state which put a lot of strain on us as my hours were crazy. she also hated the fact that i smoke marijuana back then. i was young, who doesn't experiment, lol. she has always said i was her longest relationship and the only ex she has kept contact with and she is also the only ex i have ever remained cordial with. im not banking on this but i am very much hoping. i agree that due to the fact we have remained friends over the years it does show a greater chance of happening. however i can also see so much differences with us that time has created, its expected though, time changes everything and everyone. i'm currently in the final round of interviews for an amazing position which has all my focus. i've always been a guy who will not try to go after a female unless i am satisfied with my situation and currently i am very far from being satisfied with where i am in life. also women now rarely give a man a chance who doesn't have his **** in order. lol. we shall see what happens. thanks for your input though guys
