Michelle ma Belle Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) The older I get the more comfortable I am with myself and how I look. Thankfully I have really good genes which I'm sure helps and having a partner who appreciates natural beauty and thinks I'm most beautiful when I first wake in the morning certainly goes a long way in helping me accept my imperfections and all. That's not to say I haven't had my fair share of moments where I struggled with my own set of insecurities about wanting to look better/different/younger particularly during my unhappy marriage, because I have indeed. Instead, I had a breast reduction for health reasons when I was 20 and have done the Botox thing for a while in my 30's. I've stopped the fillers a few years ago and decided to opt for a more healthy and natural approach to looking and feeling better. Any major surgery just seemed to big of a risk. Natural just feels right for me. As for nip/tuck, I'm of the mindset of to each their own. At the same time, there are people who do it for the wrong reasons and/or go too far with it. That concerns me particularly with women. I mean, who wants to look like Joan Rivers? At the end of the day, we all age. We haven't found a way to stop time so getting old is inevitable. No amount of plastic surgery is ever going to make anyone look like they did when they were twenty so having a healthy and realistic perspective about the process is paramount. d0nnivain Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 What I'm considering is lower blepharoplasty. In fact I have only discussed it with 2 people as I know my supporters will be few. You want to get a little bit of a face lift. If it will improve your overall quality of life & return your joi de vive, go for it. But here's your best bet: DON'T TELL ANYONE! Let them simply think you look fantastic.
GoldieLox Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I had to get rhinoplasty for medical reasons (deviated septum to the point where one side of my nose was 95% blocked). Other than that, I wouldn't consider any more plastic surgery, but that's just me. I'm also not quite 30 yet... talk to me in 25 years
