How to proceed (after meeting her)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I thought I'd introduce myself here. I've been a follower of this community for quite some time, and like to read through.

Last Sunday, while on a trip (3 hours flying time away), I met a girl. It is not the first time we met. In fact, this would be the third time.

We have been friends for a few years, but I never realised I developed feelings for her until after our meeting last Sunday.

Only then did I realise how happy and relaxed I felt in her company. I loved listening to her and talking to her. And she was nice for me too. I liked how she checked in with me on facebook while taking our photo together. Suddenly, some time after midnight, the meeting ended because she had to catch the last metro home, so all I could do was hug her tightly and say goodbye. She asked me to send her a message when I arrved back home.

I came home absolutely in seventh heaven, feeling the happiest I have been in ages. But then it dawned on me that maybe I should have gone further than just being nice company - although I suggested going on a trip together, which she didn't decline, nor accept.

Now I've been texting her a bit and hope to catch her on Skype. But she is offline most of the time, and I feel very shy and nervous to ask her. Also, she seems not to say much in the texts :(

I would really like to talk to her over Skype (I just don't know how to initiate this; just do it?) and arrange to meet her as soon as possible again. We were both very happy when we met. But now, with each day since the meeting, I am becoming more and more sad.

What would you advice me to do so that this can actually grow into something nice? First tips to myself would probably be:

- be self-confident like you were that night; don't be so nervous

- don't text her all the time, because she may see me as needy

- remember that we both had a lovely time, so she will not suddenly 'hate' me.

Some advice regarding inviting her for a Skype convo would be good too.

You gave yourself good advices and about skype, it is really simple, just ask her if she can talk there with you when she is free, or even chat over the camera.
