Gerbera
During marriage,I contributed 75% to my family expenditure and my husband contributed 25%. All these money has been utilised throughtout these 6 years. We have a son who is turning 7 this July. Throughout the marriage, my husband never gave me money. Now we are divorced but my ex husband wanted to claim 30% from me and I'm not working. Please comment.

No Limit
Guess you fell for a user there, sorry. If you don't work there's nothing to get - but if you still have savings you better gear up with a good lawyer. Good luck.
Author Gerbera
Thanks for your comment. Sorry for i didnt make myself very clear. He wanted to claim back 30% of what he had contributed to the family expenditure which is about 30k Sterling pounds. Look, the money had already been utilised throughout the marriage. The matrimonial house that we used to live in was given to me by my parents. During marriage, i used part of the money for the house like for the interior designs and he was not happy because he said the house was mine and not his. The time when i wanted to divorce him, i told him to move out of the house, he refused. I had no choice so i moved out with our son to my parent's house. We stayed there for nearly 3 years and he continuously staying in my house. I only managed to get him out early this year through the mediation hearings. He insisted i pay him back the money before he moves out. I told him, i will not claim child maintenance from him if he doesn't claim any money back from me. He didn't want and so we are waiting for the court hearing. Hope the judge's decision is fair.
