LoveMachine67
Where? Certainly not on the coast. Some areas do tend to be predominantly black, or at least are stereotyped that way. Some places are mostly white. Down here on the coast it's diverse with blacks, whites, good Asian, population, a few Hispanics. We go to school together, go to prom together, shop and the same stores, just like in any state. I can only talk about the coast, but it's a rainbow down here. Really you can find 'segregation' anywhere. Try ultra wealthy neighborhoods in New York. My observation excludes the coastal areas, you are right. Those areas are very diverse and integrated, have been for a long time thanks in part to the casino industry and the military bases. I am speaking about my native regions of the state, central MS and the Delta areas.
