So yeah Im soooooo sick!!!!

 

I keep getting hot then cold then hot then cold. UGH! Then I have that flemy cough and sinus pressure in my head and nose.

 

Runny nose! SO irritating. And I am sitting at work miserable.

 

Whats weird is that my jaw muscles hurt. Like right in front of my ear where my jaw point is..it hurts so bad and my lower back is KILLING me!!!

 

WTF is wrong with me? I know your not doctors but my jaw has never hurt before when I was sick??

(and no I was not doing anything sexual TIKI! :p )

Are you subconsciously clenching your jaw (maybe due to stress)?

 

Idunno. Do a vaporizer at night. And take some meds...chest vapor rubs, cough drops, theraflu.

 

You don't have a fever?

yes, and when you have the flu, it will feel like your actual teeth are sore, even the strand of your hair can SEEM to feel sore.

you can tell it is the flu cause you get the joint aches (any joint) and have chills and a fever. you don't get thise symptoms with a regular cold.

I never knew it made your teeth hurt. They hurt so bad!

 

And what sucks is my bf finally comes tomorrow!!!

I seriously think if you had the flu, you wouldn't be posting. I'm on the floor feeling like death when I'm at work and have the flu. And it SUCKS. It could very well be body aches. Or maybe it is the flu, who knows. I'm just a wuss. :p

i used to get knocked out...literally, when i would get the flu, but as i have gotten older i Normally *knock-on-wood* do not get AS sick as i used to.....

which sucks, cause i am usually cognant enough to be at work. :mad:

 

But EC, since you do have a sunburn as well, i really think you should go home and rest. 1) Your bdy temp. regulator is probably outta wack, as you may be dehydrated too. 2) you are recovering from the sunburn and the flu, which may extend the flu cause your immune system is in massive overdrive trying to keep you Working as well as just living.

I am definitely on over drive. Im already taking pills formy immune system. Then I was getting a blister so I had to take meds for that. Then the sunburn. Now the flu..plus my asthma!!!

 

Im freaking going crazy. And I have to stay at work until 7:30 tonight overtime! I feel like crying.

I was going to originally say the flu, but the same thing happened to me when I got badly sunburned. I felt exhausted, sore, alternating between shivering and sweating, and somewhat nauseous. Was great fun. :) Happened twice in the last year.

But nah Its the chills feeling that comes when your sickie poo not sunburneded!

 

And my throats on fire...this so sucks. I couldnt wait to get laid tomorrow now Im going to have to put that on hold. lol

Isn't there something called "Sun Sick" -- I used to get that way when I got bad sunburns, my mom called it sun sickness, I would have symptoms of a cold or flu right after getting burned. :confused:

Sun poisoning..I thought so too but this is way to bad. I mean I feel sick sick not sun sick? :confused: besides my moms was sick and then I went to visit her with my friend and now I am sick and my friend stayed home from work today sick :o

Could be a combination of asthma and sun poisoning, or allergies and sun poisoning. I have allergies and asthma too, and they're driving me NUTS right now.

 

Or you might have the flu. If so, you have my sympathies. I know three people right now whose doctors have told them they have the flu, and each of them have been sick for almost two months now, despite rounds of antibiotics. Two of them are my boss and his wife, and the other is my boyfriend's sister. Really nasty strain going around.

Its definitely going around. I have asthma and allergies too. Ugh! And my immune system is out of whack. Im taking pills to make it better but I dont seem to be getting better.

 

Then I cant take off of work..Im sick of going to doctors and paying co-payments..and my bf comes and hes only going to be here for a week and then hes gone again for a month in a half and the whole time hes here i will be coughing in his face and asking him to puhleaze wipe my nose! lol

 

WTF man! lol I guess I just have to laugh about it.

Yup, it's called Sunstroke. Can mimick all the flu yuk symptoms. Calomine lotion, a bath with baking soda and drink LOTS of water. Take sinus tylenol and sleep.

 

Hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow. Hey - I commend you that you stayed at work. If I felt that horrible at work I'd try my best to find somebody to cover for me and head home. ( I don't know what your job is)

 

HEHEHE, I guess since the whole SARS scare here in Toronto, many people actually WANT ya to go home! Start with the chills and coughing, ya start getting those f**k'n stares and they back away! It's kinda funny actually too!

could be a sinus infection too - I had super bad sinus infections for like a year

during one my ear and my jaw on one side of my face hurt and it ended up being an outer/inner ear infection - it was totally painful and annoying

But yeah - with the whole sun thing and the sickies going around can do it

 

Hope you feel better tomorrow - if not get to the doctor and get it checked out - you gotta get healthy for the weekend :)
