Olay makes this new lotion for EXTRA dry skin. Its in a purple bottle. Not sure exactly what its called. But it feels like butter on your skin. SOOO NICE! Moisturizers, I go to the body shop and get it. Jojoba and marijuana mixed with pineapple seed and grass shavings work well!
CurlyIam
I buy the body lotion that comes with my perfume. I sometimes don't use perfume - just me and my perfumed cream... love that! My skin is rather sensitive and I tend to have allergies at some lotions. Last one I was allergic to: Dove!! It's hard to come across something that nurshes your skin and that isn't too greasy. And that smells great !
LucreziaBorgia
I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and St. Ives Collagen Elastin Essential Moisturizer. They are pretty much staples for me. Both are reasonably priced, and I love how they make my skin feel/look.
alphamale
according to consumers reports the best skin moisturizer is also the cheapest. ranked #1 was vaseline intensive care lotion. it beat out creams that were 10 times more expensive.
catnip
Originally posted by LucreziaBorgia I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub I love that stuff, the best exfoliator available...the grains are really gritty, and rough - not like those 'sensitive' formulas. So it does the best job of ridding the upper layer of skin of dead cells, and any flakiness. Try using it every second day, for a week (followed by a light moisturizer suited to your skin type)...your face with be smooth and glowing.
moimeme
I like the Neutrogena products.
Merin
I've found that regardless of what Lotion I use IF I don't use an exfoliant FIRST My Skin doesn't feel as smooth... I like one called Spalicious.. You can purchase it at Target, comes in a Blue Jar.. it's a sea salt scrub (use a sugar scrub for shaving legs.. the salt will freakin hurt'cha LOL) But if you use the scrub it gets rid of the surface dried skin and lotion will absorb easier... makes your skin glow too
HotCaliGirl
I use St. Ives medicated scrub for washing my face, Mint Julep Masque for pores, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion as a moisturizer overnight, and Lancome Vinefit Energizing Moisturizer daily - it exfoliates and also has SPF 15 protection. I always thought that was so naughty of her! my ma used to use clinque all the time esp when they had those bonus thing-a-ma-gigs. like u buy $45 worth of shyt and they give u some free stuff. but she died in '97. i miss her to-day on mothers day ahhh, so sorry to hear about your mom. Today must be extra tough on you. My mom likes Estee Lauder, and she too waits to buy when they're giving out gift-with-purchase deals!
catnip
Originally posted by HotCaliGirl Mint Julep Masque for pores. Does this really help? Only asking because I stopped using facial masques....all they did was cause major 'eruptions' on my face. Something about how they yank out the impurities and bring them to the surface - I guess...I dunno.

Well, I read about it on an older thread here that had a link to where you could order it, and I bot it online from CVS for the first time not too long ago. I always thought you had to spend a lot on these types of products to see results, but this really clears up your pores nicely. Just don't use it too often, I was and my skin got very dry, but once a week and you should see an improvement without losing your natural oils. It firms and clears up the skin, shrinks pores and clears up blackheads. But it's a green mask and it's frightening to see your face in it the first time you use it!
