SankeCoffee Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 well I thought I was getting over her (broke up end of April, Im Dumpee) , and then today I realized that she blocked me on Facebook. I unfriended her on FB so we couldn't see each others profiles after we broke up and we haven't been in any sort of contact since the day of the BU. I went to a music festival over the weekend and was tagged in a pic with some mutual friends, so that probably is what caused it, because like I said, haven't made any attempt at contact with her since the split. I was doing fine, almost thought I was indifferent about it. I had a great weekend, went out with friends to the bar and met some cool new girls, and went to a 2 day music festival where I had a blast. I even had sex with a girl I met over the weekend. But today that after realizing she blocked me, kinda feels like I got dumped again. I have a pain in my gut and it just hurts. I'm trying to look at it in a positive, and find it humorous that she did this is response to seeing me and that she still isn't over me yet, but that doesn't really work. I don't wanna play games or speculate what another person is thinking of feeling. Anyways blocked them before they can block you, cause it kinda hurts. Link to post Share on other sites

I can tell you I'm guilty of it was well. When my ex dumped me a couple of years ago, I didn't change anything on FB over the weekend to see if she was going to block me. She didn't but I saw her online A LOT that weekend. I posted here to see if I should block her and got a resounding YES... So, I blocked her. I was hoping it "stung" her just a bit as well.. lol Sounds like your fine. Your two months out, able to go hang out w/buddies and sleep with some girls. Those are great signs of your healing. Don't let that stupid thing bother you. She likely blocked you cause she didn't won't to see what you're up to. No biggie and it was smart on her part. Keep up the good work. A friend commented on the pic from the weekend of us at the music festival, and my ex liked that comment. I was looking at the pic today and when i scrolled on the like she gave, it disappeared. so then I just typed her name in the search bar, and she was gone. Us older folks look back and share all kinds of crazy $hit that happened to us in previous relationships. It's actually fun and humorous now but wasn't at the time. Age, time and experiences, allows us to realize what's really important and what's simply a waste or energy to worry about. Link to post Share on other sites
