I know this will sound crazy,unbelievable and most of you will think it's made up but I'm a middle aged man and I'm too old to make up ridiculous stories.What I'm about to narrate is 100% true and I'm heartbroken.I need more opinions which is the reason why I'm turning to you guys.

 

Let's cut to the chase.Me(43 years old) and my wife(42) have been married for 17 years.We have a daughter(12).In the beginning our marriage was going great.Eventually,though,me and her became distant.I really don't know why.Maybe it's because I'm always working,I'm not a workaholic but since she's a stay at home mom/housewife I have to work in order to support our family.She only makes sure the house is clean,does the dishes and helps our daughter with her homework.We stopped having sex that often.We were in a rut.However,I still managed to make time for her and she never complained.Recently,she's been acting suspicious.I've been suspecting her of having a secret lover.

Get an attorney, get the divorce proceedings started. In the meantime hire a PI to collect evidence. As soon as you get the paperwork serve her the stuff and blindside her.

I think this is unfair. All of us react to immediate trauma differently, and this was immediate trauma. Freezing or being "paralyzed" is pretty common.

 

I do think, OP, that you should tell her in detail exactly what you saw, what you heard, and hand her D papers. When she crumbles on the floor weeping, tell her calmly that x, y, and z are what you expect to even consider reconciliation. And stick to your guns.

I am not a mod and I haven't slapped you just questioned have you ever suffered from a very big shock?

 

People tend to freeze and become disoriented when they are in shock... Its what happens. Its the bodies natural defence. Shut down. So even if OP were a roughty toughty guy if he went into shock all he would be able to do is stand there. He may not even have been able to walk away or move. Having been in shock myself I can tell you that you just have no clue and nothing "computes" in your brain.

I do not believe this story. The details regarding the other mans cum is what really put it over the top. We're supposed to believe that for 30 minutes he stood close enough to the OM and his wife to hear everything they said and to see exactly everywhere the OM's sperm landed and at no point did either of the notice there was someone else in the room. Not real. Or at least the story the OP fed us isn't real. Could be just his imagination filling in the blanks of a newly discovered affair.
