Brax Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 I broke up with her 6 months ago after being together for 6 months. During that time, she was extremely committed to me and pressured me for more. That troubled me as we got together almost a couple of months after my previous relationship. Long story short, she became too needy and we had constant fights about it. We had a nasty break up as i thought i had enough. We argued and she just disappeared. I couldn't forget about her ever since. I tried contacting her recently. Made first contact almost 4 am at night. (drunk dialled her ) Went over to her place and made a mistake of opening up to her about my feelings. She said she's moved on but end up telling me that we could never work, she couldn't trust me anymore, that i'm still smoking, I'm still me and she's happy at where she is right now. Found out from a mutual friend that she's single and was unhappy in life in general. Left her job and continued to play computer games till late. I've already started to process of change. Not for her but me, myself and I. Quit smoking after 11 years. Never felt better. Started my dream of programming my own iPhone app. All this being a week after first contact. She's been nice at times, we would message each other the whole day and she'll just disappear the next day. If i don't contact her, she wouldn't . What should I do? I can't help feeling stuck. I want her back, I've realised my mistakes and want to give her a future. Link to post Share on other sites
La.Primavera Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 She has given you a list of reasons why she doesn't want to try again. She was was very clear about how she felt. She may not be satisfied with aspects of her life right now but that doesn't mean she is going to be more open to your advances. By your own account it ended badly with her on the receiving end of the rejection. That is more of a reason for her to avoid getting back together with you. Author Brax Posted June 13, 2015 Author Share Posted June 13, 2015 yeah, I had a talk with her today. She admitted that she had some feelings for me but was clear that she couldn't trust me again. By my account, this time around it ended much better and we both agreed to move on. Whatever feelings that I had for her were extinguished. Lesson learned and it's time for a new chapter!
