Why did he text me?

You might remember my previous thread about this guy or I think you can find it on my profile.

But long story short, there is a big age gap. He's like 19 years older than me and I'm a teenager. For a few months he basically made it clear that he liked me, he kissed me etc. Then around March he went and got a girlfriend and ignored me for like 3 months so I never saw him and we didn't talk. Then he just broke up with her like last week. The situation is pretty complex so again you might want to go read my other thread about it.

Then yesterday morning, at 5:54am, he text me saying exactly this.

''Hi abi. Its (his name) here. Hope that you are doing ok? I just wanted to say that I am sorry to hear about jane. I do really hope that she is keeping well? Is she ok? I know that it has been a while since ive spoke with you, but i just wanted to let you know im still here k. Hope you dont hate me? Oh and thank you for the healing stone you gave me. I do use it. Well hope that i hear back from you. Yours sincerely (his name). x ''

Jane is my auntie. He hates her though because of all the trouble she's caused for me. But that's irrelevant right now.

What I don't understand is why he text me, he text me using his mums phone (I call her my auntie as I'm very close to her but she's not really my auntie) because his phone is broken.

Why 5:54am? He doesn't have a job to go to so I thought that was a little weird. He put a kiss at the end too? What....

He's an a$$hat who is using your 'auntie' as a legitimate excuse to weasel back into your life by sending well regards - good intentions and all that. I don't buy into his phone being broken either. He is using another phone so that his OW won't find a trail. I normally have no issue with age gaps, but you being a teenager and him nineteen years your senior, puts him where, in his late thirties or early forties...um no. And if I'm nowhere near the ballpark concerning his age, then you are entirely too young (early teens) to begin with. Ignore him, or better yet, reveal his true colors. Stay away from this douchebag.

I'm 15 and he's 34. And I'm not defending him but his phone actually is broken as I've been at his mums house and even she couldn't contact him at all.

Not to be judgmental but you're 15 and he's 34...not only is it illegal but it's also such a difference in where you are in life. There is no way on earth that it could work, you are both at completely different stages in life.

You should just drop this, the age gap is way too big and you should be interested in guys around your own age, you can't expect a 34 year old to commit to a 15 year old girl, sorry.

I'm not asking him to commit?? I was over him months ago and now he's just popped up out of the blue and I don't know why.

If you're over him then why are you asking this question?

You shouldn't care if you're over him

He didn't pop up out of the blue if you are hanging around his mother's house.

He was never AT his mother's house considering he went and lived with his new girlfriend, Jesus Christ.

And yeah, I was over him because he hurt me before. But I want to know why he has suddenly popped back up again.

Your mentality is reflective of your age. Do you not think his mother communicates with him?

Do you not read what I said? I just said that she couldn't contact him because his phone was broken. She barely spoke to him for those 3 months. Now he is back. Understand now?..

So because his mother says one thing that means she won't do the other? I think your age is showing naivety, it isn't a knock against you, everyone your age is the same.

Also, "was" over him, implying you're not anymore?

I don't know why I'm answering these questions when I'm simply asking what the text meant. But whatever, cheers. If you want to continually mention my age well that's irrelevant but I'll just go now because clearly nobody is understanding what I'm asking.

Because all the factors involved contribute to your situation, that is why. The chances his mother told him you have been communicating with her are very high, even if she told you otherwise.

You're getting all defensive and stuff but the fact of the matter is you asked a question and you're getting opinions, it's up to you whether you take them on board or not.

If you're asking why he has text you, well none of us can read his mind so it is pointless trying to figure it out. Either way you don't need this kind of stress in your life, especially at your age.

Also, if he texted you from his mums phone, then isn't that proof he's communicating with her?

I've just read your other thread and you say you're 16 in that, and that was in Feb. We don't decrease in years when we age so are you 15 or 16? is it 18 or 19 years difference?

You're 15 talking to a guy who 19 years older than you!! Forget about the meaning of the text but you're not a legal adult! Block his number seriously. This guy is a creepy ( don't wanna say other words).

You are 15 talking to someone who could be your father. That is extremely inapropriate and illegal. You are still a child and should be protected from douchebags like this.

Girl, get your head right. Focus on school and your friends and block this creeps number.
