But I lost my sb and she was doing my back for me. So now I have either to figure out a way to shave my back myself or find someone to do it for me. I could probably go to the waxing place but no doubt they would charge me a small fortune for about two minutes of shaving, so I'm hoping to find an alternative. My regular barber was going to do it but then she said that their insurance doesn't allow it. Any suggestions? Link to post Share on other sites

Using the clippers, you can go from the bottom up to the shoulder blades, holding the edge of th handle down by the cord. Most young women prefer a man without chest and back hair [and other parts]. Not my first choice but a lot of young women almost see it as a matter of personal hygiene. Yes, I am officially metro I guess. But no skinny jeans. Just don't want to gross out the hotties. What my sb wanted, she got! I know where the sun shines. And I do what works. Give me a furry man anyday.... Yeah, we've polled on this before and saw clear divisions between women above 35 or so, and those below. That is why I didn't have LASER done. At least this way, if I end up with a woman who likes hair, I can grow it back in a couple of months. I had waxing done once but it is too expensive and it does become more and more irreversible with time. It is also painful as hell but I didn't care so much about that. I will endure no end of pain and torture for my sweetie. Funny moment: When I had the waxing done, I was standing in the lobby with a fair number of women sitting and waiting. I made some comment about the lengths that us men will go to for our women. At that point every woman in the room looked at me and just stared or laughed. If you're in a situation where you only see your mate once a week or less though, then go for the shaving/waxing/shearing/whatever, and do it right before you see them. You get stubble if you shave. By using the clippers, the hair is long enough to stay soft but is still barely visible. The 1/8th inch guard is just perfect. The inflammation goes down after 24 hours provided you don't bathe/shower in that time. I've had various parts of my body waxed for years and never suffered from an ingrown hair. It is true that hairs get weaker after years of waxing but they never disappear altogether. I can't stand hairy men. As I said in a post a bit early, by using the clippers with an 1/8 inch offset, you don't get stubble. That is the key to eliminating almost any problems - 1/8 inch. Waxing is simply an ordeal and expensive, and this is easy and essentially free. From a market point of view there is no contest unless you are someone who wants to shine, like a body builder. Also, if you want it to be permanent, continued waxing goes that direction. But it is hard to do alone using clippers without the Manscaping tool linked by Poster. If you have someone do it for you, it's no problem. But "Will you shave my back before we have sex?" isn't exactly on my list of romantic moves. Even if you end up with a woman who loves a hairy man, I don't know any women who go nuts for back hair. Or ear hair. I'd be surprised to hear from anyone who does. It just seems like it would be a lot less inconvenient for you to get rid of it for good. This is the opinion of one of those women of a certain age you referenced. Waxing: the hair growing back is much smoother and thinner 3. Shaving: I personally hate it, my skin is super smooth and I dislike the scratchy feel. I almost prefer no shaving... You could get together every 1-2 weekends, do a bbq and then pull out the trimmers or the candle wax. Could be done easily out in the back, near a pool, in a residential area.
