I messed up, how can I make it up to her?

Recommended Posts

So I met this girl at work. At first I didn't notice her but then when I did I started to talk to her. After doing that for a few days one of my friends told me that she liked me. So as time went on I ended up liking her too and I ask her out on a date. When we went on the date I made my first move and pulled her in for a kiss. After that she grabbed my hang and held my hand the rest of the date. She insisted the kisses from there and was all over me. The date happened exactly a week ago. So the week following the date she was acting strange. When I asked her what was wrong she told me that I was overwhelming her so I backed off. A couple days ago she was acting really mean and acting different again, this time she claimed it was her period. We always tease each other and I said a couple things that she took to the heart and was mad about it. Later that night we were at a party and I brought her flowers to make her day/make her feel special. She was avoiding me at all costs that night and it kind of upset me. I was drunk at the time and I screamed at her saying "I'm tired of you're ****ing games" and she left the party after I said that. I spent yesterday apologizing for that and whatnot and she finally forgave me and said she'd give me another chance. However, she texts me later that night accusing me of talking bad about her at work. I explained to her I wasn't an again I sent a long text how sorry I was. I haven't talked to her since Friday night and she has ignored the texts I sent Saturday. Her friends have told me that she is very pissed at me and will not be talking to me for a long time. I feel really bad for what I did that it consumes me. Her friend also told me that she is done with me :/. How can I make it up to her? I really like her.

Relationships with coworkers are difficult at the best of times but what is essential is that both people are on the same page and avoid drama at all costs. That is the opposite of what is going on here.

These misunderstandings, games and fighting are not a good sign, especially in the beginning. These things have a tendency to spill over into work. It can strain working relationships and other areas of the workplace. If you like your job, you need to make that your priority. Consider the negative consequences of continuing down this path.

Even if you weren't working together I would say dating her would be a mistake. It shouldn't be this difficult. I'm sorry this isn't what you want to hear but I had to warn you. I really don't think it is worth the risk.

Don't isht where you eat. Leave co-workers alone for this very reason.

Don't bother trying to make it up to her. Just set her adrift. She sounds like she's not wrapped too tightly.
