Qboro90 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Bought the ring, have the girl, planning on popping the question sometime this fall between October-November. Trying to come up with a proposal strategy since obviously it's my first time doing so. My gf isn't very extravagant or material so I don't need to necessarily rent out a private resort or take her on a vacation and do it. I'm considering the vacation idea but our current work schedules are difficult to plan something until next year. She'd kill me if I did it at a baseball game or put the ring in her champagne glass so hoping to do something classy yet creative at the same time. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
S_A Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) Anything you can do to personalize it? Propose in a way that shows you pay attention to her interests and/or what she cares about? Like, (and this is totally random and may sound cheesy) if she did scuba diving as a hobby, maybe you'd figure out a cleaver way to propose under water or something while scuba diving? I guess my idea for you is to marry the proposal (pardon the pun) with something that's a part of who she is. Luckily I have my proposal all planned out Edited July 9, 2015 by S_A
