tommmy
I have been with my girlfriend for about a year now and I've recently noticed that she has a major character flaw that bugs me. When she does things, she tends to put much thought into it and she tends to have an attitude that she can't change things. There is no way I would want to change my girlfriend's core character traits, but I believe that this type of trait is a temporary flaw that can be changed. She also feels like she does not like this part about herself and wants to change. The problems is she keeps saying she wants change but has trouble getting out of the mentality that she can't change. I really care about her and believe that she can change and have been trying to remind her and keep her on track when she is falls back to her old habits, but this character flaw is really turning me off and is frustrating at times. It has been about two weeks since this issue has been brought up. What should I do?

What's an example of something she feels she can't change, and what are these old habits you're describing? If this has only been an issue for two weeks, she's going to need more time to change. Are you just noticing this trait of hers now?
TaraMaiden2
So... Are you saying she over-thinks things, or that she procrastinates....?
