Teammate blew the championship with DQ, how to deal with him

okay, this is about golf. my teammate shot 70, and that basically means TIGER STATUS. but he signed his score card wrong and the judges, DQ'ed him. my homeboy's bummed as this was the BIG BIG BIGGEST tournament of our lives to that point, and this basically ends our season. because he was DISQUALIFIED, [we now have to use my score of 87, (HACKER STATUS). WE find out results this friday if we can slide by to the next round, which is unlikely], i care about my team, even if we're dissolved now, ANY ADVICE to what i can say?

Can't you petition the disqualification by submitting evidence and documentation stating the error that was made on the score card? The judges would have to use their own judgement as to reversing their ruling, but it is worth a try. I would definitely not let it go just like that...that totally sucks!

 

I don't think your team will personally get mad at your friend, but if you can't enter the next round, just make sure you make your friend feel better about it since he must be feeling really bad about it.
