mrldii Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 When I was using dating websites, I used them mostly for their discussion boards to get a feel of who/what/how a guy was all about, then moved on to the particulars (age, physical attractiveness to me, location, etc.). I never used dating websites as an online catalog to pick-and-choose a guy based on his profile and then engaged him in conversation. That's how I used them, for me. losangelena Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 I was always more focused on what they had to write about themselves than I was their age and physical descriptors. Was he funny? Was he clever? Did he have more to say than two sentences? Was he profile just geared towards sex? Age, height, etc., those were all very secondary. If you have something interesting to say about yourself, I think it goes a long way. Also, photos where it's easy to see your face, and no shirtless bathroom selfies.
