We brokeup because he didn't know if he can see a future with me. I gave him 3 additional months of my time and he still doesn't see a future or can come up with a yes or no answer. So I broke it off. A relationship shouldn't be this hard. If you love someone you love them and that question should be an easy one to answer. Yes or no, if you see a future with me because I can see us together. Its been 6 days of NC. but the Facebook profile photo is getting on my nerves. I had blocked his fb, him from all social media. Do I get someone to mention, hey man you need to switch your photo? Rationally, I know he probably has not touched his Facebook profile since break up. Why am I over thinking this? Why am I letting it bother me? Why am I letting the profile photo, give me hope that he probably misses me...when I know the answer is still...no future. 1 Link to post Share on other sites

He's not going to want to commit out of the blue. It just doesn't work like that. If someone doesn't see a future after about a year at most, it's not going to happen. How long have you been together? I probably would only give 6 months before I would leave if they saw no future. I'm sorry, but I think he's wasting your time. I'm not saying he has to want to marry you tomorrow, but not seeing a future is a bad sign. If he says he's not sure, he's just BSing around. "Not sure" is code for "I'm sure, but I'm too chicken to break it off because I still enjoy the fringe benefits." As for the FB pic, it's only been 6 days.
