stratagem09
Feeling a bit jealous... I've known Bryan for a few years since we started college together, and we've been pretty much great friends since. Now, entering our final year of college, he met a girl, and now they're doing most things together. (This coming from a guy who once promised to focus on academics and not on relationships! But anyways...) I'm kinda jealous now. We don't get to hang out that often, don't talk anymore.
Merin
Happens to the best of Friendships from time to time.. The only thing I can say is try to keep it in perspective... Your friend is smitten... and in most new relationships the 2 people involved cannot seem to get enough of one another... it's why they call the first 3 months or so of a new relationship the honeymoon phase... A lot of people make deals and promises to themselves regarding Love relationships... they will decide they are never going to get married or never going to become serious about someone... BUT once they meet someone that blows them away.. all bets are off I would suggest trying to get to know your buddies GF and making her a friend as well... find other single friends to hang out with when he's doing his thang with his Girl... and don't take it personally when he can't always spend his time with you... Chin up...
Stosh
I think the best thing you can do is to let him know that, no matter what happens in your lives, you will always be there for him. Girlfriends/boyfriends may come and go. But......true friendship is something to be cherished.
CurlyIam
Don't give up on him. Call him from time to time and check up on him. Ask him about his relationship and above all: be happy for him. It's hard to share, but then he'll appreciate it on the long term. Good friends stick together and right now he's too blinded to see he's drifting away. You've got to be the bigger person, put your jealousy aside and... I don't know, not give up on him.
