I often don't even notice these things until after the fact, and even then I'm unsure if they actually mean anything or not. A couple of examples: A friendly nurse was making small talk at the doctors office and called me both "doll" and "sweetheart" during the course of the conversation. Also seemed interested in what I do in my free time. I decided it would have been worth a shot to try for her number, but missed my chance unfortunately. I was unsure what to think of being called "doll", me being a guy and all - any chance she was just being nice here? A log time acquaintance who I wouldn't think would see me as more than a friend rests her hand on my upper thigh while talking to me. Also puts her hand on my butt - not a quick pat or anything, just holds it there for a while. She also seems to bring up sexual topics often when talking to me. This one is off limits but I'm curious if these actions could be considered normal, friendly gestures because they seem like more than that to me. I'm hoping to gain some insight here so I can be a bit more aware in the future. Thanks for any input! Link to post Share on other sites
