heartbroken1357
Hi guys this girl I was recently dating has moved abroad to work for the year, She had already planned this before we met. Now she's gone I miss her terribly, she's on my mind 24/7. She ticked every box for me and almost feels like the "one that got away" She's happy for me to go visit her in a few months at Christmas, I'm just torn on what to do, do I keep in touch and maybe it will rekindle Upon her return? Or do I cut my losses and move on, it's such a hard choice.. *the title should read cope, can't seem to edit that* Edited August 18, 2015 by heartbroken1357
fireflywy
Well, if things are peaceful, definitely keep in touch and MAYBE you can both rekindle things. However, if right now all you are are just penpals without a relationship commitment, there isn't anything to stop you from enjoying your life instead of putting things on hold. If you don't want to date, no problem. Regardless, you can still continue to work on yourself regardless of whether your single, in a relationship, broken up, divorced, etc as working on yourself in any area has no condition as a prerequisite.
