johndoe2
I'm not sure where this should go so I'm putting it here. Is it a good idea to ask someone out who you meet at a meetup? Thus far in my experience those seem to be, well, a fine way of meeting 'single serving friends' to borrow the term from Fight Club. I've met a bunch of people who I then never saw again, and likely never will, and a few who I see again here and there months down the road, but doesn't remember my name or anything about me, so may as well just be meeting them anew. So if I meet a woman at one of those things, and she's single and we get along, should I ask her out at the end of the night? Or does that cross some implicit boundary that such events are supposed to be purely platonic, unless otherwise explicitly stated?

NewBeginning72
I don't see why not. I think meeting people thru meetups is better than OLD.
