Was my growth uncommon for a woman?

As I went through my family album, there was a picture of me when I got my period at age 11.

 

To my surprise, I was then probably barely 5'2 (my mother is 5'4). Though I grew at a slower pace, I ended up being 5'7. Is this uncommon, for a girl to still end up growing way more than 2 inches after getting her period? I stopped when I was nearly 18, right in my last year of HS.

It's not common, but it happens. A lady I work with has two daughters, both continued growing in 1st year of college, about 5 years after they got their periods. From what I remembered of them, it was 3 or more inches after the periods began.They are tall, 5'9 ish.
