L_and_P21 Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 for me the only car i would ever buy is a skyline, now they come in different models. the newest one would be, known to us, as the infiniti g35. but i would much rather go for the bnr34. why? because its a car that not many people have. im talking about 100 people in the country, im guessing. its a unique car for a unique person. sure it might cost 100,000 but thats only cause of importation, taxes, tarrifs, bonds and leagalization among other things. if you minus all that it would be about 35k. i wouldnt use it as a daily driver, its more of a museum car, just keep it in the garage. i dont understand why guys like huge boobs. just seems like they would get in the way... as my friends mom said "they are just fat, bags of fat." i just dont understand why people dont go on personality. cause its so easy to fake who you are and what you drive. for me i dont care if my future gf is drop dead beautiful or stick thin. for me i would much rather like a girl thats a 3 out of 10 and be really smart and personality is through the roof. to me looks are a bonus. i dated a girl and she was a 6 out of 10 but her personality was so great. we listened to the same music, liked all the same stuff. i mean we could go to a move 5 mnights a week and she wouldnt care. we could go to wendys for dinner and she wouldnt car. or for a date we would go to my grandmas and play pool. she didnt care what i drove or that i dont have alot of money. she was great to be around. but in the end we just had a little too much in common for my taste, but we are still really good friends. Author joel Posted May 17, 2005 Author Share Posted May 17, 2005 anyways i guess u guys are right. btw how many ppl drive nice cars anyways -not many well compared to ppl who drive avg to crappy cars. also most guys have gfs or have had expect for me lol- right but not every guy has a nice car-that is correct. oh maybe i should just get a girl with a car- be it nice or not and not worry about gettin myself a car. lol heee anyways vancouver buses are pretty good these days and pay parking in dwtn vancouver is $$$$$$. It's easiest to call the girls you can't have prostitutes who only care about cars and money. Just like the fox from Aesop's fable that said the grapes were sour. You're badass rep is 5x badder than the dude driving the porsche 4. Showing up to anything on a motorcycle will get their attention (as long as its not a ratbike) 5. You get the image of "badass motorcycle man" when you gear up My last two girlfriends (HOT by my many friends & acquaintences opinions) did say that the motorcycle added certain "hook" or "mystery" to me before they decided to go on the first date with me. After that of course, your personality has GOT to take over and the intelligent funny self-confident man you are will have to shine through and above the bike (of course!). The bike after that becomes icing on the cake, but I tell ya they lap it up! I also can say that I am not someone who regularly gets "the look" from women too often. But for some reason on the bike, it happens ALL the time, esp when you park the bike in a popular venue: girls walking by who rubberneck back just to see if you check them out. On two separate occasions, a random cute girl INSIDE of a building I parked in front of left their building to just come chat about how nice that bike is. That does NOT happen to me when I am standing there talking on my cell phone or show up with my beat up bicycle! Oh yeah, and all your cute female friends will start asking for rides... do with that what you will. There are some caveats to note about bikes though: admittedly they are 5x more lethal (hence the sexy reputation for flying in the face of danger), you will tend to attract the girls who like excitement and adventure you will NOT be attractive to the conservative well manicured pretty high maintainance types who like being pampered and driven around in a nice porsche/Beamer. My ex before the last one drove a 2000 Corvette (I dated him in 2000). Oh boy...I loved that car..and yeah I liked being seen in it too! But even after I dated Richy Rich with the brand new Corvette, I never cared about cars. In fact, I haven't dated a guy with a *really* nice car since. Never thought twice about it... of course, I guess I would be a hypocrite to say that cars REALLY matter to me since my ride is a 1997 red Honda Civic EX that I have been driving since HIGH SCHOOL I REALLY need a new car!!! As I always say, why pay a fee when you can steal it for free? He would obtain instant bad ass reputation, and all of the hot girls would want to ride in his stolen vehicle. Yes, a lot of women seem to like guys with nice cars. The thing I don't understand, however, is that a lot of women also seem to love guys who have nice cars purchased by the guy's parents. If the guy can afford a nice car on his own, it shows he has money. A lot of women like men with money. I don't understand what the big deal is over a BMW that was given to some guy by his daddy. If Joel has money for a nice car, he can go buy one if he thinks that will get him some women. It probably won't, but he can go ahead and try if he wants to. I have a feeling that Joel is going to continue killing what self-esteem he might have left, until he comes to the conclusion that "women like guys who are not me". But nice cars aren't critical are they, I didn't say they were so! I said that girls that are the wish-to-be-pampered-high-maintainance type will not be into bikes. I didn't say that people who aren't into bikes will all be like that kind of girl, so no you aren't necessarily like that (are you?)! Big difference! My point was that if Joel wanted that type of girl (some men do), a bike would be a bad option. I agree with what L_and_P21 said earlier that Joel seems to be the "kicking boy" for some posters on this thread. It seems like a good wake-up call to tell them they have no self esteem and bring bitterness and resentment to the table, but what the hell does that do to help someone??? Would you ever think of a psychiatrist saying that to a client? I don't think so. I won't openly speculate what the motivations are for this kind of post... Joel's OP was simply making an observation that nice cars have nice girls in them, which plenty of people on this thread have confirmed this correlation! No, it is not just an asian thing, as there are materialistic shallow women, as well as nice decent women, in all races and cultures. Hint: You want to date the women who do not care what sort of car you drive, because they like you for you. There are lots of them out there! Oh, and not every woman who is riding with some guy in a really nice car is there because he has a really nice car. Sometimes people with really nice cars just happen to meet really nice people who would have dated them regardless of what kind of car they drive. Don't compare yourself with others. There will always be people who are more successful and less successful in various ways. That doesn't mean you are inferior to those who are more financially successful, and it doesn't mean you are better than those who are less so.
