Naive Posted May 16, 2005 Share Posted May 16, 2005 So my sister is a married woman now The wedding was spectacular and my sister looked stunning!!! I admit I was a big cry baby throughout the whole wedding. The wedding was in a beautiful place. It was an outside wedding. When I saw my sister come out I had to cry because she looked so beautiful. They brought her out in a white carriage with 2 white horses as they played a beautiful song that you could hear all over the lake. She went around the whole place while everyone looked out to her until she got to where we were. Everyone was sitting in the middle of the lake because there is a little island in the middle of the lake where the ceremony takes place and swans swim around you. 2 of the bridesmaids were missing but it was okay Anyway, I stood next to my sister throughout the whole ceremony and it was so beautiful. Once the reception started the wedding party had to make a grand entrance and as I was going down the stairs I almost fell!!! I was red in the face The reason was that I had to hold on to the best man which is my sister's husband's brother. He had an accident about 2 months ago and he has not fully re-cooperated so he is very slow. When I was trying to hold him up I slipped but thankfully did not fall *phew* I just heard people say Awwww!!! They probably thought I was going to bring the best man down with me!!! Anyway, then I gave my speech which EVERYONE loved. I got compliments from people I did not even know, they would just come up to me and say how beautiful the speech was. Some lady said thank you because I let them see and get to know my family better. It was unbelievable how many people loved the speech. I had them laughing and crying at the same time. My sister could not hold back her tears and she cried. I finished the speech with a big bang! I said, "*my sisters husband's name* can you please put your hand on top of my sister's" which he did, then I said " congratulations because this is the last time you sir will have the upper-hand"!!!!! Everyone busted out laughing. It was real nice So many things happen that I cannot tell about right now because I have to get to work but I will. There was drama, good times and lots of tears but only good ones!!! What I can say it's that it was a fairy-tale come true!!!! Link to post Share on other sites

When they finally got there the ceremony was over and they were in tears but my sister was like whatever she did not let it ruin her day!!! I did wear flowers for the ceremony. Thanks It was simply beautiful. Specially when she came in the carriage, that was magical!!! She looked like cinderella!!!! Except she had a beautiful sister The whole scenery was straight out of a movie W e were in the middle of the lake while the ceremony was going on and swans were all around us. My sister and her hubby as well as me and the best man were clear out the sun inside the chapel It was like 90 degrees Then for the reception the ballroom was just perfect!!!
