youdunsay
Do you really need a group of friends-colleagues at work, not for the means of getting things done at work but to show your boss that you're well-liked or at least accepted by a group? Or are you always solo? Edited September 23, 2015 by youdunsay Added another question
chumble
not sure if it helps to get ahead. but if you're demonstrative all the time it can annoy people not in your gang.
BrokenManAgain
Simple story. I was at a club when I met up with a young Cpl serving in Afghanistan. He learned I was a former Officer. He complained to me that his friends no longer want to listen to him or to want to hang out with him. My response. You're not their friend. You're their leader. It clicked.
