These five women did - for VERY different reasons. So how have their relationships fared since? | Daily Mail Online The outcomes varied to them spitting up, to sticking it out. Some realized in hindsight that they loved their husbands. Noticed that in all the scenarios were told from the perspective of the bride and not the groom. One married her husband because she felt sorry for him due to his illness. But stuck it out with him anyway and realized she loved him, only because she thought he was dying. Others split up. The outcomes were varied as some stuck together, but others divorced. I kind of wondered why some stuck together though? The reasons didn't seem entirely valid? Yes? No? And now you know that it does happen, and some people do marry for function only. Of those who do it, many just won't admit it and I believe men do it too (I personally know a few) but women just talk more than men. Don't forget how logical and practical-minded men are... It's interesting that they all didn't stay together. I would think they would, especially if they both married for function, and not just one. I personally would never do it, and don't really respect it, even though I know it works for many people, as in, they stay together forever. Actually, there was a mix in that article of those having stayed together. The one in particular I think was the cancer surviving husband. Apparently, him turning ill increased her love for him.
