PattyB
My significant is starting a new job out of town. We have been together for the last six months. He will be able to get back once a month or so for a couple of days. I am not sure about this. I love him, but know that I will miss him terribly as we get into this arrangement fully Are couples actually able to maintain their relationships, given these extraordinary circumstances? Are we setting ourselves up for failure? I'm confused. Your input is appreciated.
cinnamonstix49
My dad works in Russia for one complete month and then he comes home for a month... him and my step mom are extremely happy, although they do miss each other a lot. Good luck Patty... I hope it works out!!!
Author PattyB
Thank you so very much cinnamonstix49. I am trying to stay open minded about this. It might be OK for a while. We get a long week-end every three weeks, and our daily morning/noon/bedtime phone calls help. It's almost like he's not gone. Of course... it has only been three days since he left. I just want to be positive, and stay positive. I have been reading the other threads, and I have learned a great deal. Thank you all for the support. I appreciate the support that is extended here to each other. Later
