There's a lot of people on this planet...

Recommended Posts

A lot. Hmmm.

I like people, I really do. But I want to feel as if I am the only one on the planet. If not for a moment. Just enough I can dictate my own fate. Have some control.

When I am done, they can come back. And I apologize if that was rude. But I needed my space.

Ok...

What is your real issue? Dictating your own fate? Wanting boundaries? Good news...you can do both. I'm quite auccessful at these things and live a great life.

This is on you to fix,

No .. the burden is not on you alone. we operate on a collective. If people don't have the respect for one another that permits a person to have boundaries and personal aspirations, then you can be subjected to the will of the majority. like slavery. Respect is the ONLY societal trait we must always hold in high esteem. It is the key ingredient for dreams to come true. RESPECT. Love IS the dream < 3 It's ironic but you can't have togetherness without the Respecting of our individuality. We all pay a toll.

I dunno I guess I'm being idealistic and wishing things were just ... somehow different. This is a huge topic, I probably am only hitting the surface here.

The basics: love, sex, money, survival, feelings, fears, emotion, etc.

Those are "mine". Society, corporations, TV, movies, can show me some superficial things, but don't control those core parts. Those are mine. And every person, has theirs. And it's theirs.

They are intruding into that personal space. But I feel many do not consider it this way. And that alone, bothers me...??

New kids don't know, because that's how it works. But older people do. Because we lived before internet and movies had such a finger on our personal private parts.

It's as if we're all being raped. We all are being touched in our private parts.

I saw some show the other day. In it, the actors "acted" in a way... I remember, clearly, did not exist in the 80s-90s in mainstream TV, yet existed in "real life" and

that kept art and reality separated, so that reality could be "our" reality.

IOW art is separate so that, when I have some "inside joke", I feel that is my and our property. Otherwise, it's not an "inside" joke anymore, it's an "outside" joke, because

you told me it, and you are outside.

Do you think perhaps the wanting to be separate stems from fear of not being interconnected? Do you think maybe you are projecting your fear of being rejected before it even happens onto others? Is this about your parents being too controlling or feeling stifled by expectations?
