Seth0194
Talking about your break up is always good, it helps to get those emotions out into the open, so many times we lock them away and it takes us longer to move on. I spoke with a friend who recommended I talk to a therapist. (Now if you know me, this would make you laugh) but I thought about it and said what can it hurt. I had my first session this past Friday, just talking brought out so many emotions that I really did not think I had. I sat there and spoke for an hour and twenty minutes (once I got started she didnt stop me) I left that office feeling better, refreshed and felt I was able to let go of some of what I was carrying around. I am going to do a follow up in a few weeks, she told me somethings that help put it more in prospective and I can say I had a great weekend, (best one I have had in two months) Anyone on the fence about doing this, take the time, go do it. Try 1 session if you do not think its for you then you do not have to go back. It helped me a lot. Remember you have to take care of yourself, if you dont no one else will.
