hbk4894
https://www.neverlikeditanyway.com/ do you think it is right or wrong to sell ex partners items and would you ever do it yourself?
mrldii
Are we talking items given to us by an ex as gifts or items that belong to an ex that were 'left behind'? "Gifts" can have anything done with them; selling someone else's belongings is most likely a crime...and probably falls under "selling stolen property".
carhill
I might consider it but I lack inventory. ExW got everything. Oh, wrong, I do have an old iPod she gave me ten years ago that I could maybe get ten bucks for. Heh. If you mean the possessions of ex-partner/ex-spouse, fuggetabout it. ExW was meticulous. I look around and it's almost scary. No complaints though. Small price to pay. TBH, I'd be more likely to donate or give away. Done enough of that sales portal stuff. Meh. CarrieT
I took a look. Boy, there is some seriously ugly - and overpriced - jewelry out there... Also, it isn't just women selling stuff. A lot of guys are posting on that site, selling things they bought for girls. Edited October 3, 2015 by CarrieT
TaraMaiden2
Yes, I looked too. The term 'cloud cuckoo-land' when it comes to prices, is apt... Yuk. Technically speaking (well, I'm not even sure it's 'technical!) ladies shouldn't sell their engagement rings unless they DID marry and then divorce. If it's a broken engagement, the ring, by rights, still belongs to the ex-fiancé...
Gloria25
Oh pleeze, you gonna tell me this chick doesn't realize dude can take her to court over this? Hasn't anyone seen daytime TV in small claims court? You just can't take someone else's property and dump, sell, and/or leave it outside - even in cases where they "may" have abandoned it. I hope the bf looks up the website and takes her to court. Talk about bitter.... I don't have time for this. If it was me, I'd do an Angela Bassett (in Waiting to Exhale) and put all his stuff in his car and light it on fire. If he has a pick-up truck, I'd do a Carrie Underwood and take a baseball bat to it.
