Frank2thepoint
I ran across an article where the singer Demi Lovato did a cosmetic-free nude photo shoot. The article didn't mention if there was any photo manipulation of her outside of controlling the lighting and exposure of the photo. Note, the photos do not show her breasts, nipples, or vagina. Those are covered. In addition, there is a short video of her explaining why she did the photo shoot for Vanity Fair. I am a type of person that is attracted to the natural beauty of a woman. I do not argue against cosmetics, because if a woman wants to wear them, then that's her choice. But my preference has always been for a cosmetic-free look on a woman. There is something sexy about that, to visually experience the "imperfections" of her body. It reaffirms that she is human and vulnerable. Concerning Demi Lovato, I thought she looked amazing in the photos. She is gorgeous without any makeup. In addition, her tattoos accentuated her look. I know not many like tattoos, but I don't see them on her as portraying her any less attractive. I understand many women struggle with their physical bodies, using cosmetics to hide any self-perceived imperfections, or apply it to augment their beauty. It's understandable due to all forms of media bombarding us with how a woman should look. I personally wish it wasn't the case. It's sad there are men that expect cosmetics on a woman, while many women pressure each other to use cosmetics to hide their true selves. This is my opinion on the subject, so don't bite my head off and say I am wrong. I hope the article aids more women, and men of course too, to be comfortable in their own skin, and parade their natural beauty with pride and confidence.
