My smoking really has to stop

Recommended Posts

I quit smoking for 4 years

about 5 months ago someone left a packet on my door step at midnight (i was living in a hotel). after a massive breakup from defacto and her kids, lighting up and having a puff was fantastic. i had gone through severe adjustment disorder and having a smoke was something i wish i had thought of earlier. it broke down my anxiety immensely

today here i sit probably now smoking at least 30 a day, i would honestly enjoy staying a smoker if it was once every 3 hours, but it seems thats never going to happen

i can quite easily put on nicotine patches and stop again but the problem is not quitting, its the "what am i gonna do with myself instead"

currently....

# i am only getting 10 hours a week employment & having serious difficulty find more work

# ive played football all my life, but have had to retire recently due to permanent leg injuries,

so now ive got way too much time on my hands, and no sports career, trying to get off these smokes is seemingly impossible right now. i tried 2 weeks ago but i broke my new phone, and stress from a recent relationship was prominent at the time so it pissed me off to light up again.

anyways id like to try again but i need day breaking activities that will keep me afloat in the non-smoking worlds :)

i dont know how to emulate having time out from the world, like i do when i enjoy a smoke

Change. Your. Mind.

It's that simple and you've already started the process. Your mind is stronger than your circumstances. You can do this. Again.
