Stone
My and 2 of my friends are pregnant we are all in our 3rd trimester and our guys are being totally awasome and took the kids to a ball game tonight so we have a free night out!!! WHOOOO HOOOOo But I can't think of a dammed thing to do, we would usually go have some cocktails or go to a club. We can't get in to the movie. I don't know what 3 preggasourses could do to have a good time ( Please nobody say bingo LOL)
New_Wife
LOL @ Bingo! Shopping is fun, but that depends on your feet. Bowling is hilarious when pregnant - unless your balance is off too much. Pedicures ROCK because you have one delicate pretty part & you can gossip like idiots while they're being done. We have, in my area, a couple of dualing piano bars that are smoke-free & they are a riot. The piano guys play any requested song ("baby got back" was the funnies when I was there) and they sing along to it. Those have the added benefit that you can sit and enjoy. New_Wife
I hit submit too soon. Or a comedy club.
HokeyReligions
I was going to suggest a Comedy Club too, but some of the ones around me are not smoke-free! There's always dinner & a movie. All-U-Can-Eat Chinese Resturant anyone! Community Theater?
quankanne
the manicure/pedicure thing sounds like a real treat, as does getting an appointment with a massage therapist. My sister treated our niece – mother of a 13-month old and seven months pregnant with her second – to a massage by someone accustomed to workiing with pregnant women. And the kid said it was the best gift ever. what about signing up for a crafts program: quilting, pottery, scrapbooking, cake decorating? those always sound like fun, and you wouldn't have to commit a whole lot of time to it. hanging out at a bookstore like Borders would be heavenly if you're a reader, or maybe even catching a free concert/poetry night offered at a bookstore or college campus. catching a music or theater performance at the local college (cheap, if not free). check out the different bistros, delis or restaurants you normally wouldn't with your guy/alone. and my personal favorite: hanging out at an antique shop. for some reason guys I know just don't go for that ... but my girlfriends love it!
