Sister Bond

It's crazy unbelievable the bond that I share with my sister.

 

Earlier today, I was on such a ridiculous high.

 

It all came crashing down later, I felt so defeated and I was missing my sister [away at school]. I messaged her to tell her that whenever I miss her, I excessively check her FB page.

 

Turns out she was feeling really down herself. In the past few days, more engagement announcements have been posted.

 

It made her come to an actual realization on the fact that her boyfriend hasn't proposed to her as yet. Long story, short - they have been together for two years now and she has changed big time for him. She feels unappreciated.

 

She said to me,

"If people recognize that they love someone, they don't wait".

 

In fact, after we had messaged each other, I actually shedded tears - for the fact that she feels alone.

 

I'm grateful she at least shared her thoughts with me.
