After some thought, I don't think he was used to having one on one dates. It sounds like many of the women he dated had kids who often tagged along. In short, many poor new orleans girls needed him to pay for them and their 3,4 kids. I truly did feel like the bad guy, and I feltl like I was being punished because I wanted to get to know him and not treat him like a meal ticket. He would act like I never wanted him to spend time with his daughter. She's grown and doesn't want to spend time with him like when she was little, DUH.
