OhGeezNotAgain
So I had posted something previously where the woman I was into had called it off because she needed to focus on her own stuff before getting me involved. Well, I got blacked out drunk and sent her a text message at 3:30 AM with a link to a Bright Eyes video for "first Day of My Life". I know... Seriously dumb move and cheeseballs, but I don't remember it at all. Anyways... I said that I really liked her and couldn't bull**** or play it cool and be fake. I had to let her know how I feel. Imagine my horror to get a text from her and see that I had written to her... What she wrote is confusing me. "I like talking with you, no bull****. That is a really beautiful song and that is really sweet. I can't imagine you being fake. It seems antithetical to your nature." I wrote back, after realizing I had written to her, and giving myself a minute to let my drunken stupidity soak in. "oh geez. I had a little too much fun last night. I am so sorry that I wrote you so late. I am slightly embarrassed, to say the least." Her response was, "what! No way! It was a delightful surprise to wake up to." Now. Am I wrong in thinking that this is far too nice of a response? I gave her plenty of ways for her to let me know that she didn't feel the same way or wasn't into it, etc... It's the last response that is really confusing me. Any thoughts on what you think her intention was would be greatly appreciated. Thanks community!
TheBathWater
I'm only going off of your interpretation here, so it's not completely unbiased. If you were also drunk when you wrote this post, well, we need to account for that as well. If she responded in the affirmative, which she did, that might be good news for you. I feel like most women who are not interested would either not respond or try to deflect in some way. She responded and was positive about it.
Author OhGeezNotAgain
No. I was not drunk when I wrote this post. I got drunk because I was partying with friends and then I ended up partying with James Franco. No joke. It was a wild night in LA.
