Sara109
I asked my boyfriend of two months what he would like for Christmas and he said not to worry about it and not to get him anything. Would you give your partner something after telling you they don't want anything?
BLND
Everybody says they don't want anything. Heck even I say it, and I am known to love gifts. Of course you should get him something for Christmas, by then it'll be 4 months for you guys.
RecentChange
Hum, well - here is my perspective as I am not a "gift giver" and joke that I obstain from the consumer holiday we call Christmas Don't expect a gift from him. And if you get him something "nice" and he doesn't have something to reciprocate with it can be awkward. That said, when I was young, and broke.... I made my BF "gift certificates" good for things like a body massage, or a sexual favor - they were fun, not a gift that cost anything, and didn't create any "what I didn't get you want as expensive" awkwardness. xcupid
He may not be able to afford to buy you something. As an alternative to buying something, create something that is romantic - coupons, certificates are a good start.
