Before DDay, it didn't necessarily make the M better, but it made his life better. He had the same amount of disconnect at home, nothing changed, but then he had me on the side fulfilling whatever was missing. So his M carried on like it had for years, and he was just generally happier, minus a little fear he might get caught by both of us. So that made home life a little easier to ignore, I was told. After DDay, he refused to let me go (he convinced her to be in an open marriage), and then his M, though, there were arguments, became better than it had been in...forever. She changed everything he didn't like and had asked to change for the longest time, and took she bits of my personality/habits too. The occasional meltdowns and trying to balance time between the two of us was hard for him, but other than that, she became everything he wanted. Including a version of me, partially. So yeah, in the end, the our A made his M better. I don't know if that will last or not, but it is not my problem anymore. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
